A high level delegation of the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone (RBIDZ) led by SANEC, visited the NAFTC-Africa offices at the Clootwyk Business Center where the esteemed delegation experienced a warm welcome by the Chairman Mr Jan Hak.
RBIDZ and NAFTC Africa explored opportunities of creating and implementation of an Agro Food Processing industry in the well-developed Industrial Zone where trade (exports) is facilitating in connection with the deep sea port of Richards Bay
The Mayor of Richards Bay (City of uMhlathuze Municipality, on the photo left of Jan Hak) expressed his keen interest after the presentations and discussions to work with NAFTC-Africa - SANEC and its Members to facilitate Dutch companies in their growth strategy for Southern Africa by using Richards Bay as a point of entry.
Part of the meeting was a site visit to Giessendam and Sleeuwijk where different industries with a possible future link to Richards Bay and the Industry Port where seen.
